APRS on the Range
APRS is much more than a glorified GPS. The PowerPoint presentation below was composed in 2004 to address the complaint I often received from other Hams that, “I don’t need to let everyone know where I am.” Sometimes it helps if you do.
Although the presentation is dated, it provides a historical point from which you can gauge the progress that has been made in the APRS infrastructure here on the Range in the last thirteen years.
